Let's see what we've been up to in December.
After the quick run down to Crystal Cove, it was apparent that we needed to resolve the issue of the very heavy ramp. So Carter had an idea to build a floating dock to assist. Now when the Arc pulls away from the ramp, it falls onto the floating dock below and it stays in place until we return, glide up beside it, lift it into place and tada! Done. It works.
Next we prepared to take a quick cruise down to Welaka to participate in the Christmas Boat Parade.
Palatka does not host one so, down south we went.
The first night out our anchorage was interesting. The first neighbor we spotted was none other than the S.S. Minnow! Yup, I kid you not.
Next was this guy, with his double wide floating houseboat, killer slide, and a floating airplane.
While we were still admiring our neighbors, Carter sees that SpaceX had launched!
Our plan was to hang our Christmas lights up so, we moved to the other end of this little cut so as not to disturb folks with our lights and generator late at night.
