Wow! I am behind, so I'll get all caught up tonight.
Continuing on with painting. The barrier coat is almost complete.
Can't wait for the name sticker to go on.
Barrier Coat is done!
On to the anti-fouling black paint.
And finally!!!
The name sticker is back on the stern.
I think it looks great.
Carter and I designed a new logo. We are no longer sun priates...we are frolicking dolphins.
Here's a project that has not had much mention. Carter is changing out all of the lead acid batteries with ProLiFo lithium batteries!!
Yes!
More Power Scotty!
We have been moved over to the splash area for the weekend to complete bottom paint where the wood supports were. Lots of work being done here this weekend despite the rain.
Tomorrow we break down the work area.
Looks like a bomb went off here...Carter dug out quite a bit in order to have enough room to manuever underneath to paint.
I cleaned up the fenders and put them back on the sundeck.
And a nice sunset at the end of this 6 month experience at Gibson Boat Yard.
Another little fun project we did...
Put a smiley face on the Arc!
LOL We seem to be getting silly in our old age.
But still having fun.
We splash tomorrow.
I snapped a pic of 10 year old Layla, a young lady from the camper tribe.
She's an enjoyable personality.
Then tie up to the sea wall and load up all the boxes.
And pressure wash the panels.
