Ellen is in the water with a fresh coat of paint on the hull.
New paint inside will come later.
Radar and I have been rowing daily to the mouth of the canal and back.
I've missed it.
The road down to the canal bank.
Carter's work area.
New round of mulching to be done.
New round of tree trunks that will need to be burned.
The fire pit at the end of the driveway...in front of Carter's work area.
The latest area to be cleared. Carter cut some of the trees leaving enough stump to grow back.
The hope is that they will 'bush out' giving us some privacy while the Maple and Live Oak trees that have been left behind and were failing due to lack of sunlight will begin to thrive this year.
And yet more trees to process for mulching/burning.
Another view of the newly cleared area.
A view from the driveway.
Our crooked fence! Carter backed into it with the tool trailer.
It's toast.
The front of the property. The big boat trailer to the left
The beginning of the driveway into the property. I am studying up on what to plant there.
Area out front that we cut trees and pulled vines. The vines had killed what trees were there.
It was a mess. It looks kind of bad right now. We are discussing what to plant there.
View standing under Carter's work tent looking back towards the canal.
Our actual living area not cluttered with tree debris.
The area just in front of the RV. The wood is actually covering the french drain.
The mess under the RV canopy.
The mess behind the RV.
The view of the clearing from behind the RV.
MY processed piles of mulching to be done.
Obviously, this picture was taken at low tide.
