Finally! Our main reason for being in Lake Marion this summer was to witness a once in a lifetime event...the Total Eclipse of the Sun! Lake Marion was in the direct line for totality. Nick, Jackie and the girls all came down for the event and I had Zaylen with me. It was pretty cool!
We stopped off at our favorite gunkhole to decompress for a few hours before going back to the marina. No swimming this time since we found out "Lake Marion's dirty little secret"!!
