May 12 -

Even experienced Captains misjudge/miscalculate sometimes.  Welcome to the Archimedes Funhouse!  As much effort as we put in with 2 stern anchors in addition to the bruce at the bow, we still woke up to an angle that sent me flying across the room when I got out of bed.  LOL

Some of the effects of listing approximately 15 degrees to starboard!

The through hole for the galley sink was below water.

And this is the hallway through the boat.  Ha!

Funhouse or not, we must still have our coffee.  I got out a level and adjusted the coffee maker.  Yes!  JAVA!

Radar took it all in stride.  LOL

High tide came and we were off the bottom and on our way by 9:45 and headed north to Georgia.

The abandoned lighthouse on the Florida side of the Florida/Georgia state line.

There was a beautiful sunset at the end of a very long day.  We dropped anchor at 7:00 pm then served dinner in the cockpit in this idealic spot in the Federica River in Georgia at the site of Fort Fredrica National Monument.  Radar and I will explore in the morning.
