We began the driveway project and we are loving it so far. It is soooo nice to be able to park vehicles off the road AND we were able to bring the studio trailer over to the property. We have moved all vehicles onto the property now with the exception of Ellen who will probably be joining the crowd after Christmas.
Of course this is phase 1 of this project. We will have to lay down another layer of dirt and then gravel the road. Then build forms for the culvert and get it inspected before pouring concrete.
We went over to Gibson's Boat Yard and brought the studio trailer home.
All that is left is to bring Ellen down from Tennessee after Christmas.

Ellen has arrived.
Carter's new BFF Mike, across the street, very generously let us use his water to pressure wash Ellen and the Solara so Carter can go ahead with repairs the gunnel, cut a new cover for the center seat and then fresh paint all around. She will then be ready for Radar and I to row up and down the canal.
I'm excited about that!
